A Little Bit About Me
Thankyou for taking the time to check out my website! I’ve been living on the Sunshine Coast for over 16 years; and feel privileged to call this majestic little pocket of the world home. I’ve travelled and lived overseas in some amazing places but have to say the Sunshine Coast is one of the most aesthetically beautiful places in the world! I have worked in the television industry here on the Sunshine Coast for over 13 years; and prior to that was a Wedding Co-ordinator at an exclusive venue in South Yarra; Melbourne. In 2005 I married my partner Steve at Point Arkwright; Coolum. It was the happiest day of my life; my cheeks hurt from smiling; and everyone commented they had never seen a happier bride. Our wedding celebrant played a vital role from our very first meeting; to pronouncing us husband and wife on the day. It truly was my dream day.
More About Me
I am blessed to have a super great step-son from my husband’s previous marriage; and I understand the importance of inclusion and the joining of blended families...and what a juggling act that can be. We also have a 10 year old daughter; who keeps us busy with school, sport, friends and all that 10 year old stuff! Time with family and friends is my JOY…my happy place. Speaking of happy places…the reason I became a Celebrant is because I want your special occasion to be YOUR happy place. I’ve attended weddings and funerals over the years where the Celebrant didn’t really CONNECT with the people there…it’s such an important thing to get right!! I pride myself on being professional, organised and punctual; having a caring and warm nature; listening to your needs; being articulate and most importantly being down to earth and honest. I don’t take myself too seriously; and I love to have a laugh…but I do take this profession seriously and I will ensure I give you a unique and personal ceremony that’s memorable for years to come. Be it a wedding, funeral, naming ceremony, renewal of vows or saying goodbye to your much-loved pet I would be honoured to officiate your ceremony for you.
